SCHS is a 501c3 non-profit that does not receive any funding from the federal, state, or local government. We are a Best Friends No More Homeless Pet Network Partner. Additionally, we are a member of the NH Federation of Humane Organizations, Shelter Animals Count, Million Cat Challenge, and Feral Friend with Alley Cat Allies. We do not receive any funds from these organizations.

 

You can support us through Adoptions

 

We do not make a profit from the adoptions of our animals. Our adoption fees also do not cover the daily care costs and veterinarian expenses of each individual animal. All of our financial needs are met through your generous donations and are supplemented with fundraising events throughout the year. Therefore, any help is very much appreciated.

 

Sponsor a Cat

 

Do you love cats but can't adopt one right now?  Why not sponsor a cat instead?  The $40.00 towards the cat of your choosing will help offset the cost of caring for the cat for one month.  During the month your name will be displayed on the cat's cage or bio sheet rcognizing you as a kitty caretaker.  

 

Sponsor for one month or many, for one cat or many.

To sponsor a cat you can mail a check with the name of the cat you want to sponsor or use our PayPal option and in the memo area tell us the name 0f the kitty you want to sponsor.
